Editor, Tricia Conover, is a Mahjong player, certified Mahjong instructor listed in the Mahj Life Guild directory, and a wine and travel journalist (DipWSET® Level 4 Sommelier in Wine, and a CSS, Certified Spirits Specialist.) She is the five-year Editor, Wine Wanderings on Substack. Tricia has been a journalist for the last 15 years writing in print and digital media for Substack, and other publications like PrimeWomen Magazine, The Somm Journal, LuxeGetaways, and Food, Wine & Travel.
Tricia is enthused about covering the world of Mahjong (Mahjongg, Mah Jongg) in Mahj Tile Talk. As an instructor Tricia has taught groups of players from many walks of life following the guidelines and rules of the NMJL, National Mah Jongg League. She is also familiar with the multiple American Mahjong alternative play cards offered from other companies while she honors the rich legacy of the cultural Chinese elements of Mahjong’s origins.
